Contest Rules

Only one entry per person.

The photo must be Bee themed.

Entry must include a 250-to-350-word essay explaining the photo and why you believe it relates to bees and pollination.

Entry form must be completed, signed and dated. (Any entrant under 18 years old MUST HAVE GUARDIAN SIGNATURE)

Entry Form, photo and essay must be electronically submitted via google drive

to scbaphotocontest@gmail.com between April 1st and June 30th.

All entries will be acknowledged by email within 48 hours. If you do not receive confirmation please contact us.

Winners will be announced by September 30th 2024

Google Drive Entry Instructions

Open Google Drive

Click on New, click on File Upload, select your entry form, photo and essay files and click on open

Click on New , Scroll down and click on new folder, Title Folder SCBA Photo Contest, Click Create.

Click on menu button (three dots) in folder, highlight share, click on copy link.

Insert Link into email body and send to scbaphotocontest@gmail.com.

Prizes will include

1st place - $1,000.00

2nd place - $500.00

3rd place - $250.00

The top three winning entries will also be published in the NC Bee Buzz and Bee Culture.
